Dahl Recipe


Directions:

  • 500 Grams of yellow split pea.
  • Soak them overnight, in cold water from the tap.
  • Next morning, change the water, and leave it for an hour.
  • Drain the water.
  • Boil in 6 pints of water, adjust the heat so it doesn't boil over.
  • Boil for 2-3 hours.
  • Heat some Cumin seeds in a dry pan, untill they start jumping.
  • Put them in.
  • Add some hot water if you want it thinner.
  • After searving, add salt for taste.

Eat with, Roti, rice, curry, or as it is :)
