Banana Bread Recipe
Sweet, light and perfect for anytime of day, Amanda teaches us the secrets of this tasty treat.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup softened butter
- 3 bananas
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 tsp of salt
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 3/4 cup walnuts
Directions
- Preheat oven at 350 degrees
- Put 3 eggs in a bowl
- Add 1/2 cups sugar
- Add 3/4 cup softened butter
- Mix it until it's smooth
- Add 3 ripe banana's
- Squish in mixtures
- Mix in mixture until not clumpy
- Add 1 tsp of baking soda
- Add 3/4 tsp of salt
- Mix well
- Add 1 cup of flour
- Add 1/4 cup buttermilk
- Stir the mixture until well blended
- Add 1 more cup flour
- Add another 1/4 cup buttermilk
- Mix until smooth
- Add 3/4 cup walnuts
- Grease bread pan
- Poor mixture into bread pan
- Put bread in oven and cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour
- Let bread cool for 20 minutes and eat up
